TapTap++
Last updated: 21 October 2026
The short version
- Your tallies and counts stay on your iPhone or iPad. They are never uploaded.
- There is no account and no sign-in.
- The app sends anonymous usage signals so the developer can see which features are used. They contain no counts, no tally names and nothing that identifies you.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. The developer never sees your payment details.
- There are no ads and no tracking across other apps or websites.
Data on your device
TapTap++ stores your tallies, their names, colours, steps and targets, and the time of every count, in a database on your device. The app's widget, Control Centre control and Live Activity read the same database on your device. This data is included in your device's iCloud or computer backups under your own Apple Account, and is deleted when you delete the app.
Anonymous usage signals
The app uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count how often features are used: for example that a tally was created, that a Counter was closed and how many taps that visit had, that Count Together was opened, or that the Pro screen was shown. Signals use a random identifier that is hashed on your device, carry no personal information, and are not used for advertising or tracking.
Services the app talks to
| Service | Purpose | When |
|---|---|---|
| TelemetryDeck | Anonymous usage signals | While you use the app |
| Apple App Store | Buying and restoring TapTap++ Pro | When the app starts, and when you buy or restore |
Your rights
Because your counts never leave your device, you control them fully: edit or delete any tally in the app, or delete the app to remove everything. The anonymous signals can't be linked back to you, so there is nothing personal to access or erase. If you have any questions, email hello@veglog.app.
Children
TapTap++ collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
