row counter app
A row counter for knitting and crochet
Put the needles down, tap once, pick them up again. TapTap++ keeps a tally for every project, remembers where you were weeks later, and shows how much of a section is left.

One tally per project
Name tallies after projects or pieces, such as Sleeve 1 and Sleeve 2, and give each its own colour.
Targets for each section
Set a target of 40 rows for the ribbing and watch the ring fill. Your phone taps when you reach it.
Rows and repeats together
Count rows and pattern repeats side by side with Count Together.
Weeks later, still right
Active time ignores the days the project sat in the basket, so it shows how long you actually spent knitting.
How to use it as a row counter
- Make a tally for the piece you're working on.
- Tap once at the end of every row.
- Tapped twice? Press minus. Counts never go below zero.
Questions
Can I count stitches as well as rows?
Yes. Make a second tally for stitches and count both with Count Together, or switch between them from the list.
Will the screen switch off while I knit?
No. The Counter keeps your screen awake while it's open. You can turn that off in Settings.
